At Sleep Health Center we understand how difficult it can be to find effective solutions for your health concerns. Navigating our siloed health system is extremely difficult, often involving prolonged wait times, expensive tests, and suboptimal results. If you are frustrated with our healthcare system and don't feel like you are getting the help that you need, we may be able to help through our Healthcare Navigator Program. Whether you are looking for a second option on treatment for sleep apnea, wondering if there is a non-drug approach to treating your condition, or would just like more information on your condition and guidance on how best to approach your treatment, our Healthcare Navigator Program is here to help.
Our team of experts in sleep, health, and clinical psychology have experience working in hospitals, palliative care, pain clinics, sleep centers, and counseling centers. We have gained valuable experience consulting physicians and other healthcare providers in a wide range of specialties.
We hope to apply this wealth of experience and expertise to guide our patients to the best solutions we can find. There is no obligation to work with us, we simply want to help guide you to the most effective approaches for treatment and/or management of your condition(s).
After 20-years of practice in Louisville, seeing over 6000 patients with a wide range of health conditions, and consulting with dozens of healthcare providers, we have developed a list of incredible resources and an amazing referral network. We are forever grateful for all our patients have taught us along the way and we hope to share our lessons learned with all those who are willing to hear.
Over the years we have had many patients express their frustrations with the healthcare system. Most commonly we would hear “why did it take me so long to get here?” and “why wasn’t that option ever discussed with me”?. We asked ourself the same questions. What we concluded is that our current healthcare systems’ emphasis on management of biological factors often leaves out 2 of the essential elements of health. There are now decades of research support indicating that optimal treatment requires consideration of all 3 elements. The biological, psychological, and social. If you are seeking a comprehensive approch to your health, we encourage you to consider reaching our for an evauation to see what we can do to fill in the gaps in your treatment.
